Transitioning from one module or unit to the next is important in guiding learners through the semester, but it isn’t always easy. With the module learning guides in our Canvas Course Template, however, we can help smooth out that progression.
Designed with busy faculty in mind, our lightning workshop series takes no longer than 30 minutes per session and focuses on breaking down the Canvas Course Template so you can hit the ground running to prepare for next semester.
In our third workshop in the series, we’ll focus on the entry point of every course module: the module learning guide. We’ll take a brief but detailed look at what module learning guides are, what they contain, and why they’re valuable additions to each module.
The session is set for 12:30-1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14. Register now.
Specifically, after this workshop, you will be able to:
- Identify key learning guide components
- Discuss some of the pedagogical value of learning guides
- Generate ideas for how you might modify or customize the learning guides to suit your unique needs
Did you miss the last workshop in the series? Not sure that you’ll have time to attend? That’s okay! Each workshop is self-contained and recorded so that you can watch and re-watch them at your convenience.
Upcoming Session:
