If you’re looking for a way to help quell some of those anxieties but running on a tight schedule, join an instructional consultant in a micro-session focused on guiding you through our Canvas course template.

Designed with busy faculty in mind, our lightning workshop series takes no longer than thirty minutes per session and focuses on getting you the basics so you can hit the ground running to prepare for next semester.

In our third workshop in the series, we’ll shift our focus to the Module Learning Guides and take a brief but detailed look at what they are, what they contain, and why they’re valuable additions to each module.

Specifically, in this third workshop of the series, you will:

  • Identify the Module Learning Guide contents
  • Discuss some of its pedagogical value
  • Consider ways to modify or customize the Module Learning Guide to suit your needs

Missed the last workshop in the series? Not sure that you’ll have time to attend? That’s okay! Each workshop is self-contained and recorded so you can watch and re-watch them at your convenience.

Upcoming workshops in the series:

  • 12/01, 12:30 – 1:00 pm – Assignments and Discussion Boards

The Division of Online and Strategic Learning provides support and assessment for technology-enhanced teaching and learning for on-campus, online, and blended courses and programs. Our aim is to establish an institute of good practice that all faculty will find useful, formidable, and essential to their aspirations of excellence in teaching.
