This online mini-course is appropriate for faculty at Ball State who would like to embed high-impact practices (undergraduate research, immersive learning, study abroad/away, or diverse perspectives) into a course they teach. The course will introduce faculty to the research on high-impact practices, the progress made in implementing HIPs at Ball State, and the course listing and assessment procedures for faculty teaching HIP classes. The course will be open during the month of September and will be primarily self-paced and asynchronous. We will have one synchronous meeting (via Zoom) at the end of the course to share final products and reflections. Participants who complete the mini-course will receive $250 in their RIA.
