High Impact Practices (HIPs) at Ball State Summer 2023 Mini-Course
This course is appropriate for faculty at Ball State who would like to embed high-impact practices (undergraduate research, immersive learning, or study abroad/away) into a course they teach. The course will introduce faculty to the research on high-impact practices, the progress made in implementing HIPs at Ball State, and the course listing and assessment procedures for faculty teaching HIP classes.
Participants who complete the mini-course will receive $250 in an RIA. Stipends are not available for this program. (Faculty who have previously completed the HIPs faculty learning community are welcome to enroll in the course, but will not be eligible for funding.)
