If you’re interested in using storytelling and technology to solve problems and create engaging experiences, our interdisciplinary master’s program in Emerging Media Design & Development is the right graduate degree for you.
Current faculty and EMDD students will be on hand to talk about the program at our upcoming informational session on Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 12pm-1pm. Register online here. Students and professionals from both creative backgrounds (English, journalism, theater, graphic design, photography, TV/film) and technology backgrounds (computer science, Web design, animation) come together at the Center for EMDD to tell stories through screens, books, kiosks, stages, and even at live events.
What sets our program apart is that it’s a hands-on, practical experience built around research and application. Our students do more than just sit in a classroom. They are working with real community partners (including David Letterman, Water Quality Indiana and Professor Garfield) to create immersive, interactive story experiences that solve real-world problems. When students graduate, they know how to create experiences for the 21st-century marketplace.
