The Facul-TEA series offers 15-minute webinars designed for busy faculty—a perfect quick pick-me-up to energize your teaching, research, creative endeavors, and professional activities in the amount of time it takes to drink a cup of tea! Facul-TEA sessions offer Timely, Engaging, Abbreviated skills-based training for faculty with similar roles and/or experiences. Space is limited - register for a session!

How to Run a Good Meeting
Tuesday, 9/2 - 3:00pm [for all faculty] 

Join us for a training session on How to Run a Good Meeting. You will learn techniques that will help you to accomplish more, and to avoid having meetings that could’ve been an email. If you’ve ever been frustrated with how your meetings are being run, this training is for you!

Robert’s Rules of Order
Tuesday, 9/3 - Noon [for all faculty] 

Do you find Robert’s Rules of Order intimidating, or confusing? Join us for a training on Robert’s Rules, where we will cover the basic rules on motions, amendments, and all of the points of order you could possibly need. Get rid of your Robert’s Rule anxiety in just 15 minutes!

Getting Involved in Governance
Wednesday, 9/10 - 2:00pm [for new faculty]

Do you want to get involved on campus, but you’re not sure how? Do you want a say in how this University is run? Attend this training on Getting Involved in Governance, where you will learn about all of the opportunities available to you, and how it can help set you up for whatever direction you’d like to take with your career. 

Accessing and Viewing your Teaching Evaluations
Tuesday, 9/23 - 10:00am [for all faculty]
Wednesday, 11/12 - 2:00pm [for all faculty]

This session will provide an overview of the most commonly used features of the new IOTA interface for accessing your Student Ratings of Instruction (i.e., course evaluations). The focus will be on how to create reports from recent and past class sessions that can be uploaded to Faculty Success.
