The
David Owsley Museum of Art (DOMA) is looking for new gallery guides to join our team! A guide is a volunteer trained to facilitate learning in the museum through a variety of activities and techniques. As a guide, you can spark a lifelong interest and appreciation for the arts, humanities, and sciences by providing interactive and engaging tours to our museum audience.
Volunteer guides meet most Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. at DOMA. No art experience is required, however an interest in art and a willingness to learn and interact with museum visitors is important. All are welcome to be involved, including community members and Ball State students.
To learn more, attend
an informational meeting at 3:30 p.m. on August 26 in DOMA’s Contemporary Craft Gallery on the third floor of the Fine Arts Building (2021 W. Riverside Avenue).
Contact Audrey Jacobs, DOMA’s curator of education, with questions of if you are interested in the program but unable to attend this first session.
