On October 25, 2022, Apple released the latest MacOS upgrade – Ventura. If you use a university-owned computer, it is imperative you do not upgrade to MacOS Ventura at this time. Our current IT security antivirus software, Sentinel One, is not yet compatible with this latest MacOS upgrade and attempting to install Mac OS Ventura on computers with Sentinel One installed will leave computers unprotected and become a security risk.
Once a newer version of Sentinel One is available, Information Technology will follow up with you with more information on how to install the Mac OS Ventura upgrade. Again, please do not attempt this upgrade on your university-owned computer until then.
