As a part of the University’s continuing Cardinals Care campaign, deliveries of disinfecting wipes and additional surgical face masks are currently being made to all colleges, departments, and high-traffic areas.
Central Stores is currently packing boxes of disinfectant wipes and disposable surgical face masks for 70 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Coordination Team members in these areas.
Classroom Disinfectant Wipes: The disinfectant wipes are for classroom desk cleaning at the beginning of each class session. If all Ball State University students enrolled in on-campus courses utilize one disinfectant wipe to clean and disinfect their desks for each in-person class that they are enrolled in this 2020 Fall Term, the total number of disinfectant wipes required for the entire term would be approximately 1,540,000. All supplies are available, and deliveries begin today.
Disposable Surgical Face Masks: The disposable surgical face masks are for Ball State University students, employees, and campus visitors who have forgotten or lost their own face mask. Please note, this additional disposable surgical face mask delivery is intended to supplement the disposable surgical face mask supply that colleges, departments, and high-traffic areas have already received.
