Please join the VPAA Office in welcoming Mr. Lawrence Brown as the new Director of First Year Experience. Mr. Brown comes to us with more than twenty years of experience in the field, and ten years as the Coordinator of the First Year Experience at Florida A&M in Tallahassee, FL. Mr. Brown has developed a plan for First Year Experience based on academic success, career and professional development, student wellness and health, financial literacy, and community engagement. He has a BA in History Education, an MA in African American History, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Leadership. Lawrence Brown will be housed in University College, and he will begin his career at Ball State on July 1st.
