Did you study a world language in high school?

  • Students with previous world language training can earn up to 14 free credits (dependent on placement) after successfully earning a grade of C or better in the course into which they are placed. That’s a full semester worth of credits for free!
  • Students should continue studying a world language their first semester at Ball State!
  • After completing the 101-202 sequence, students are only 3 classes away from completing a minor!
  • The online placement exam affords students the opportunity to complete the exam at any time they have access to the internet. The Placement exam is located in Canvas in the Modern Languages and Classics Community Group.
