It’s almost time to fall back! Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 1. Most smartphones, computers, tablets, and other digital devices will update automatically. However, you will need to manually adjust any analog clocks or other devices that don’t update on their own.
Important Information for Third-Shift Employees
Employees working third shift during the time change on November 1 will have one additional hour in their shift compared to a typical shift. University policy requires employees to be paid for the actual hours worked.
Employees may coordinate with their supervisors to adjust their schedules by arriving one hour later or leaving one hour earlier on the day of the time change.
Bargaining Unit Service Employees: Flex schedules must be established before midnight on Saturday (12:01 a.m. Sunday, the start of the workweek). Supervisors and employees are encouraged to work together to find arrangements that meet both operational and employee needs.
