Ball State University Associate Vice President for People and Culture, Darrell Clark, will begin a new position as Vice President of Human Resources at University of Louisville on August 1, 2024. Since January 17, 2023, Darrell has been a valued member of the Division of Business Affairs, leading the transition of “Human Resources” from a transactional focus to a more people-centric approach as “People and Culture”. During this time, Darrell has provided leadership and management in the implementation of human resources best practices in alignment with the Ball State University Strategic Plan – Destination 2040 and enduring values. We wish him success in his next role. Darrell’s last day at Ball State University is July 26, 2024. Alan Finn, Vice President for the Division of Business Affairs and Treasurer, will name an Interim Associate Vice President for People and Culture in early August 2024, and begin a search for the permanent AVP in fall 2024.
