An active shooter is defined as one or more subjects who participate in a random or systematic shooting spree, demonstrating their intent to continuously harm others. These situations evolve rapidly, requiring immediate law enforcement response to stop the threat and mitigate harm. Learn what to do if there is an active shooter on campus.
