The 2024 Election is almost here—Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

If you're an Indiana resident, early voting remains open through November 4. The deadline to request a mail-in ballot has passed. On Election Day (11/5) polls will be open between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm to vote.

To find where to vote early, or to check your polling location for election day, use the Indiana Voter Portal. Simply click “Find Your Polling Place,” enter your information, and hit "Continue." Here you can see early voting locations, hours, and your polling place for November 5th.

Indiana requires a government-issued photo ID to vote, such as an Indiana driver’s license, photo ID card, military ID, or U.S. passport. Ball State students might be able to use a student ID if it meets the proof of identification criteria.

For out-of-state residents, visit Vote.gov to find your state's voting information, including registration, early voting, and ID requirements.

The Cardinals Vote! initiative, by the Center for Economic and Civic Learning and the Office of Student Life, is non-partisan and dedicated to providing information on voting. For questions or more information, contact Dr. David J. Roof at djroof@bsu.edu.
