Contact the Technology Helpdesk to Upgrade University-Owned Computers to Mac OS “Big Sur” or “Monterey”

On October 25, 2021, Apple released the latest MacOS upgrade – “Monterey.” If you use a university-owned Mac computer, please do not upgrade to MacOS “Monterey” (or “Big Sur”) without contacting the Technology Helpdesk.

Due to the way our computer encryption software works, it is necessary for Technology Helpdesk personnel to assist you in these upgrades.

To request your university-owned Mac to be upgraded to either Big Sur or Monterey, please contact the Technology Helpdesk at https://www.bsu.edu/helpdesk to submit a request or call them at 765-285-1517.
