Ball State’s Multicultural Center is proud to invite you to be involved with the Man 2 Men program, a retention and graduation initiative for male students of color. The program is looking for Alumni engagement through various means like mentoring, networking, and educating. Your engagement would be crucial in assisting students persist through their academic career. The program has a strong focus on academics, post-graduate preparation, and community through workshops and events such as financial literacy, time management, and many more!
Man 2 Men has just completed its first full year with over 50 members, many of which who have received over $10,000 in scholarship and financial support. We hope to grow the program more and create an exhaustive network for students to receive further support in all capacities. We are primarily looking for men of color identifying alumni, but the program could use the support of anyone.
The program will have its first Fall Networking Banquet on August 26th, 2024, from 7-9pm in the Student Center Ballroom. We encourage you to come out and make connections with these young men. If you are not able to come out in person, please reach out to Man2men@bsu.edu and we can discuss how you can be involved.
