Classroom dedication to recognize Ball State Financial, February 24

President Geoffrey S. Mearns and Bryan Dean Stephen P. Ferris of the Miller College of Business will be dedicating Room 138 as a Personal Finance Classroom in the Whitinger Business Building in recognition of the generous support of Ball State Financial.

The ceremony is Wednesday, February 24, at 4 p.m., and everyone is invited to watch the livestream at bsu.edu/live.

Ball State Financial (formerly Ball State Federal Credit Union) was founded by Ball State University staff members in 1953. In November 2020, the credit union become a division of Financial Center First Credit Union in Indianapolis.

The credit union’s mission is to improve the financial lives of its members and community through free financial education, exceptional member service, and competitive financial products and services. Ball State Financial is supporting the University’s financial literacy initiative with a pledge of a $170,000 gift over a period of three years.
