Chase Charlie Races: 5K Run/Walk, Kiddie 100 & Virtual 5K/10K Pre-Registration is OPEN

September 19, 2022

Each fall, the Undergraduate Sport Administration 402 – Event & Facility Management class organizes the Chase Charlie Races.  The 22nd Annual Chase Charlie Races are part of the Homecoming events on Saturday, October 22.  The Chase Charlie Races consist of an in-person 5K run/walk, a Kiddie 100 (children running across the football field during halftime of the Oct. 22nd Homecoming football game), and/or a 5K/10K Virtual run/walk.

The purpose of our event is three-fold:

1.     To create a unique and quality event for all participants.

2.     To provide undergraduate students with a valuable immersive learning opportunity that benefits the Sport Administration Fund for Excellence, which provide scholarship and professional development opportunities for high achieving sport administration students.

3.     To educate and prepare the Muncie community for a lifetime of healthy living.
