Chase Charlie Races: 5K, Kiddie 100 & Virtual 5K/10K Registration is OPEN

September 30, 2021

Each fall, the Undergraduate Sport Administration 402 – Event & Facility Management class organizes the Chase Charlie Races.  The 21st Annual Chase Charlie Races are part of the Homecoming events on Saturday, October 23.  The Chase Charlie Races consist of an in-person 5K run/walk, a Kiddie 100 (children running across the football field during halftime of the Oct. 23rd Homecoming football game), and/or a 5K/10K Virtual run/walk.

The purpose of our event is three-fold:

  1. To create a unique and quality event for all participants.
  2. To provide undergraduate students with a valuable immersive learning opportunity that benefits the Sport Administration Fund for Excellence, which provide scholarship and professional development opportunities for high achieving sport administration students.
  3. To educate and prepare the Muncie community for a lifetime of healthy living.

To REGISTER and learn more, please visit www.chasecharlie.com.

Registration closes at 11:59pm on Sunday, October 10.

**The SPTA 402 class and Working Well are partnering together.  If you are interested in participating in BOTH the Chase Charlie Races and Working Well’s activity challenge (Tri To Catch Charlie Team Challenge), you can find more information here: https://www.bsu.edu/about/administrativeoffices/workingwell/our-services#accordion_wellnesschallenges.
