Join us for a retirement reception to celebrate and honor Charlie Scofield from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27th, 2023 in the L.A. Pittenger Student Center Terrace Lounge.
Charlie is retiring after 34 years of service to Ball State, where in 1989 he was hired as the Evening & Weekend Supervisor at the L.A. Pittenger Student Center. After serving in this capacity for 3 years, Charlie was promoted to his current role of Facilities Assignment Coordinator, where he has spent the last 31 years.
In his role, Charlie has had the opportunity to engage with numerous students, faculty, staff, and community members to ensure their event needs were taken care of for events occurring not only in the Student Center, but in other areas on campus as well. Charlie’s commitment to customer service and providing the best experience for individuals he worked with has remained his top priority. Charlie’s dedication to the Ball State community is invaluable and will be missed dearly.
Charlie’s last day at the L.A. Pittenger Student Center will be Friday, September 29th.
