See the work of Ball State’s emerging artists and designers at Beginnings 2026: The First-Year Foundations Student Show, featuring artwork created during the past academic year by students in First-Year Foundations courses.

Join the School of Art during Ball State Family Weekend for a reception and awards ceremony from 4–6 p.m. Friday, September 11. Awards will recognize outstanding student work in 2D, 3D, 4D, and Drawing, along with a Best in Show Award generously sponsored by Art Mart in the Village.

Beginnings 2026 is on view September 4–October 9.
