Join the Field Station and Environmental Education Center to celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 19th, from 10-3pm. Visit the Rinard Orchid Greenhouse to search for orchids in bloom and make a paper orchid; stop by the Nature Lab to create seed balls, learn about the water cycle, and a range of other activities; and explore Christy Woods to search for songbirds and wildflowers in bloom. At 10:00am and 1:30pm, guided bird walks will meet at the Nature Lab to explore (binoculars provided). At 12:00pm, a guided wildflower walk will also meet at the Nature Lab before heading out to search for spring blooms.
