Ball State University’s Center for Economic & Civic Learning is seeking a full-time Project Director for CREATE250: Expanding the Civic Promise for All, a three-year initiative funded by the U.S. Department of Education.
The Project Director will provide day-to-day leadership for a high-visibility federal project focused on strengthening civic education across Indiana. Key responsibilities include coordinating statewide teacher professional development, supporting student civic engagement initiatives, managing partnerships, and ensuring successful implementation as the nation approaches America’s 250th anniversary.
This position offers an opportunity to play a central role in shaping civic learning at scale while working closely with educators, schools, and community partners across the state.
