CECL Hiring Multiple Student Positions for Spring/Summer/Fall 2026

The Center for Economic and Civic Learning (CECL) is hiring several student employees to support major university-wide civic initiatives, including CREATE250 (U.S. Department of Education), C4G, America250 projects, and campus civic engagement programs.

Available positions include:

  • Communications & Media Assistant
  • Civic Projects & Program Assistant
  • Research & Evaluation Assistant
  • Public History & Archival Assistant
  • Civic Media Literacy Assistant

CECL student employees can gain experience in:

  • Civic education and public engagement
  • Project coordination and event support
  • Writing, media production, and communications
  • Primary source research and public history
  • Leadership, research, and professional skills

Details

  • Hours: 5–15 per week
  • Pay: Competitive hourly rate (grant-funded)
  • Location: Teachers College / CECL Office
  • Eligibility: Any major; strong interest in civic engagement encouraged.
