The Center for Economic and Civic Learning (CECL) is hiring several student employees to support major university-wide civic initiatives, including CREATE250 (U.S. Department of Education), C4G, America250 projects, and campus civic engagement programs.
Available positions include:
- Communications & Media Assistant
- Civic Projects & Program Assistant
- Research & Evaluation Assistant
- Public History & Archival Assistant
- Civic Media Literacy Assistant
CECL student employees can gain experience in:
- Civic education and public engagement
- Project coordination and event support
- Writing, media production, and communications
- Primary source research and public history
- Leadership, research, and professional skills
Details
- Hours: 5–15 per week
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate (grant-funded)
- Location: Teachers College / CECL Office
- Eligibility: Any major; strong interest in civic engagement encouraged.
