Join us on Monday, Feb. 24, for a screening of alumna and former WTHR investigative journalist Sandra Chapman's documentary, "The Girl in the Yellow Scarf."
The award-winning documentary is a compelling, historical account that builds on Chapman's years of investigative work and the recollections of key witnesses in one of Indiana's most notorious Civil Rights cold cases.
For 33-years, the murder of 21-year-old Carol Jenkins in Martinsville, Indiana, went unsolved until a series of reports by Chapman prompted a woman to come forward with a stunning secret.
We invite the community to join us for both the screening, which will begin at 7 p.m. in the Art and Journalism Building room 175, and the following Q&A with Chapman. It's sure to be an interesting and educational evening!
