Gratitude is shown through appreciation for the people around us. Through Cardinal Spotting, People and Culture invites you to spotlight colleagues.
What is “Cardinal Spotting”?
Cardinal Spotting is all about recognizing colleagues who bring our enduring values to life in their everyday work. If you’ve noticed a colleague going above and beyond, here’s your chance to recognize them.
This Month’s Focus: Gratitude
In November, we’re highlighting Gratitude, our commitment to express appreciation to other people and to demonstrate our gratitude through our actions. Whether it’s acknowledging a colleague’s support, recognizing everyday contributions, offering encouragement, or showing appreciation through meaningful actions, we want to hear how gratitude is being lived out across our community.
How to Participate
- Pick a colleague who has lived this value.
- Write a short description of a specific professional contribution that reflects this value, sharing how your colleague demonstrated it in their work and the impact it had on others, a team, or the university.
- Give as many shout-outs as you’d like!
What Happens Next?
“Cardinal Spottings” will be featured on our People and Culture LinkedIn and Facebook pages on November 23, showcasing the meaningful impact our community makes every day.
