Cardinal Central Student Assistant
$10/hour, minimum 15 hours per week
Cardinal Central welcomes students who can provide excellent customer service across all communication channels - including walk-ins (students, parents, faculty, and staff), phone calls, and emails. This is an hourly position for the 2026-27 academic year, with a minimum of 15 hours per week. Students will be trained to provide general information about the university, on-campus programs, and events, as well as financial aid, billing, and registration. These are complex processes that will require independent decision-making and problem-solving. After training, Student Assistants will be able to research and analyze available information on students' records in accordance with FERPA regulations and make recommendations.

Marketing and Communications Student Assistant
$10/hr, 15-20 hours per week
Cardinal Central welcomes students studying marketing and communications who are searching for additional experience in media, advertising, and research projects. The student assistant will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of strategic marketing and communications projects, including, but not limited to, creating media that align with Ball State’s marketing brand standards; conducting target audience research; and designing and executing communications campaigns. Experience in graphic design with portfolio is preferred.
