As ransomware and cyber attacks escalate nationwide, critical infrastructures and schools face significant vulnerabilities that demand immediate attention. LTC Sarah Frater, a frontline cyber defender, will share her invaluable experiences in tackling cyber threats as a prominent member of Wisconsin’s Cyber Response Team.

As Indiana moves forward with establishing its Cyber Civilian Corps, the urgency for a cohesive, multi-agency response to cyber threats is more critical than ever. This talk will outline the characteristics of an effective collaborative response and empower you with the knowledge to actively protect our communities.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:  LTC Sarah Frater has over 20 years of military service, including multiple overseas deployments. She commands the 127th Cyber Protection Battalion in the Indiana National Guard and is the Director of Information Security at the University of Wisconsin Credit Union. With expertise in intelligence, security, and cybersecurity across public and private sectors, LTC Frater has led Cyber Response initiatives to protect municipalities, schools, and critical infrastructure from cyber threats.
