We are accepting proposals for the Teaching and Technology Summit 2023 (March 23 & 24)!

We welcome presentations on any topic related to teaching and technology. Last year’s Summit included sessions discussing:

  • Polling tools and student engagement
  • Canvas tips and tricks
  • Visual design of course materials
  • Groups and Discussions in Canvas
  • Accessibility in course design
  • Equitable grading
  • Gamification

If you’re doing something interesting with your course, we want you to share that at the Summit!

The Teaching and Technology Summit is an informal environment for folks to share with colleagues what they’re doing in their teaching. Sessions can be as short as 5 minutes and as long as 20 minutes.

The goal of the Teaching and Technology Summit is to spark innovation and curiosity in our Ball State community. You don’t have to have all the answers in your presentation – if you have a teaching idea or practice that you think can inspire your colleagues, please submit a proposal!

Deadline: Friday, February 10, 5 p.m. The planning committee will review proposals and notify you of the status of your proposal by Friday, February 24.
