Are you interested in helping to develop clear university-wide guidelines regarding the ethical use of AI in teaching, learning, and scholarly endeavors? Will you be able to meet every 3-4 weeks between March 2026 and June 2026? If so, please submit an application to join the Ball State University Generative AI Taskforce (GAIT).
Members of GAIT will do the following:
- Develop and recommend AI use guidelines for Ball State instructors, students, and scholars.
- Recommend policy and best practices related to student academic integrity and transparent AI use.
We are interested in faculty from a wide range of disciplines, with differing AI perspectives, and with experience in pedagogy, research, creative endeavors, and/or student academic integrity. Faculty GAIT members will receive a $250 Recognized Incentive Activity deposit.
