Adventuresome undergraduates and graduate students:
If you’re interested in studying in Africa, Asia, Central or Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, or the Middle East, a Boren Award could give you up to $25,000 and a head start on your career!
Language study is required while abroad, and strong preference is given to students who will spend at least six months abroad (which can mean only one semester away from Ball State's campus, when summer is part of the equation). Scholarships for summer study abroad (at least 8 weeks) are available only to students in STEM fields. Study must begin no earlier than June 2026.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
