About Ann:
While local artist Ann Johnson is well known in art circles across the United States and abroad, many people may not fully appreciate the breadth of her life and accomplishments. She has led an extraordinary life, both personally and professionally, marked by a journey most people could only imagine. Often described as one of Muncie, Indiana’s best-kept secrets, she has earned a place among the city’s most notable figures.
Her remarkable journey has now found a new form of expression through authorship. Her book, Finding Fogg, is more than a memoir—it is a reflection on a lifetime of creativity, resilience, and reinvention. With humor and honesty, Ann shares the story of a Hoosier girl who transformed dryer lint into a globally recognized artistic legacy.
