Become an Ally/Advocate for the LGBTQIA+ Community

Become an ally/advocate for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning population at Ball State University and beyond by attending the Safe Zone and Trans* Safe Zone Trainings. Trainings are 4 hours long. Trainings are open to Ball State students, faculty, staff, and if the space allows, to interested members of the wider community. We are pleased to announce our training dates for the 2022 Spring Semester: 

Safe Zone Trainings: 
-Monday, March 14th, 9:00am-1:00pm, Virtual
-Thursday, April 7th, 5:30pm-9:30pm, Virtual

Trans* Safe Zone Trainings: 
-Saturday, March 26th, 8:30am-12:30pm, Virtual
-Thursday, April 21st, 5:30pm-9:30pm, Virtual

Upon completion of the training, participants will receive a Safe Zone or Trans Safe Zone sticker, as well as other materials and invitations to workshops and conferences.
