Become an Ally/Advocate for the LGBTQIA+ Community

Become an ally/advocate for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning population at Ball State University and beyond by attending the Safe Zone and Trans* Safe Zone Trainings. Trainings are 4 hours long. Trainings are open to Ball State students, faculty, staff, and if the space allows, to interested members of the wider community.

We are pleased to announce our training dates for the Fall Semester:

Safe Zone Trainings:
     - Saturday, Sept. 11th 9:00AM-1:00PM Virtual
     - Monday, Oct. 4th 10:00AM-2:00PM Virtual
     - Thursday, Nov. 4th 5:30PM-9:30PM Virtual
     - Wednesday, Dec. 4th 1:00PM – 5:00PM Tentatively In-Person, (Location TBD)

Trans* Safe Zone Trainings:
*Participants must complete one of the above Safe Zone trainings prior
to attending Trans* Safe Zone Training*
     - Wednesday, Sept. 22nd 1:00PM-5:00PM Virtual
     - Saturday, Oct. 23rd 9:00AM – 1:00PM Virtual
     - Thursday, Nov. 18th 5:30PM – 9:30PM Virtual
