Basic Spanish for Employees - Free Hybrid Course for Spring 2023

Human Resources in partnership with the Department of Modern Languages and Classics is excited to offer this Basic/Conversational Spanish course that is designed just for our employees! 

The course will focus on speaking with step by step pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar support in order to: 

  1. develop basic conversation skills; 
  2. make connections with our Hispanic community; 
  3. achieve personal learning goals. 

No grades. 

As busy professionals contributing to the mission of the university, you have much on your plate. Taking into consideration your work demands and time constraints, the class aims serve as a place of respite, where we experience the joy of learning together and preparing ourselves to better connect with our Hispanic community.  No previous Spanish is required to take this course.

This hybrid course is free and meets in-person Monday and Wednesday from 12:00-12:50 PM and on Friday online.
