The Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs is pleased to share the good news that Dr. Carole Kacius has been selected to serve as the Director of Assessment and Accreditation at Ball State University.
Dr. Carole Kacius joins Ball State after working in administrative positions at IUPUI for the past three decades. Her administrative roles in the schools of dentistry, medicine, and public health included academic planning, student support, assessment and accreditation. She served on the IUPUI program review and assessment committee and has been an accreditation site visitor across the U.S. and abroad.
Dr. Kacius was the PI on $1.1 million in educational grants and co-PI on an additional $1.4 million. She earned her PhD in higher education administration from Indiana University in 2000, and completed year-long executive leadership programs at the UI-C in 2004 and IU in 2014. She is a proud alumnus of Ball State, where she earned her EdS in educational psychology, her MA in school psychometry, and her BS in psychology. She is excited to be working for Ball State and appreciative of the opportunity to give back to the university that gave so much to her as a student.
