Ball State University has partnered with Handshake, a career platform that will replace Cardinal Career Link (CCL) via Symplicity. Handshake will officially launch campus-wide next fall.
For the Spring semester, both Handshake and CCL will be available for job searching. Cardinal Career Link will continue to be utilized for scheduling coaching appointments and workshop / event RSVP’s through the end of the Spring semester.
Beginning Fall 2026, Handshake will be fully functional and open for all employer events, Cardinal Job Fairs, and career coaching appointments.
With Handshake, students can:
Receive personalized job and internship recommendations based on majors and interests
Register for career fairs and employer events
Manage on-campus interviews with top employers
Schedule appointments with career coaches
