Ball State University Earns 5-Star Workplace Wellness Recognition

Ball State University has been recognized as a 5-Star AchieveWELL organization by the Wellness Council of Indiana, earning the program's highest level of recognition for its commitment to employee well-being. The designation reflects the University's continued investment in creating a healthy, engaging, and supportive workplace for faculty and staff.

The AchieveWELL program recognizes organizations that demonstrate excellence in building a culture of well-being through strong leadership, strategic planning, employee engagement, and evidence-based wellness initiatives.

As part of its evaluation, the Wellness Council of Indiana highlighted Ball State's leadership support for employee well-being, data-driven approach to wellness programming, and initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and supervisor development. The review also recognized the University's efforts to expand awareness of wellness resources through its Fly Well initiative.

Ball State University will be recognized during the 2026 Indiana Wellness Summit, where organizations from across the state are honored for their achievements in workplace well-being.
