Aspire Summer Funding INCLUDING the extension of Faculty Domestic Travel

Domestic Travel is designed to supplement travel funds provided by the faculty member's college and department. A maximum award of $500 is available per faculty member. As with all Aspire grant opportunities, applications must be submitted through InfoReady and the deadline for this competition is the 15th of every month. Funding is limited for this pilot program.

Program Stipulations

  • Tenured and Tenure Line Faculty and professional personnel with faculty status through the level of department chair/Director
  • Applications should be submitted no more than 2 months in advance of the invited presentation.
  • These are not research funds, but to present research and scholarship at professional regional or national meetings or to perform or exhibit creative works.

International Travel is designed to supplement travel funds provided by the faculty member's college and department for the purpose of supporting conferences, or similar scholarly presentations, or artistic performances. A maximum award of $700 is available per faculty member. As with all Aspire grant opportunities, applications must be submitted through InfoReady and the deadline for this competition will be the 1st of June and August, then bi-monthly through AY 24/25.

Published Scholarship Support is to aid in expenses associated with publication, reprints, article processing or open access charges, page charges, and subventions. Work must be accepted for publication or published in a refereed or other scholarly journal. Support can be used for open access, peer-reviewed publications listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals or for publication in subscription journals that allow some articles to become available openly based on a published fee schedule (sometimes known as hybrid open access). Applications must be submitted through InfoReady and the deadline for this competition will be the 15th of every month.
