Spring Deadline: Aspire Internal Grants Available for Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty
Two opportunities for faculty scholarship are available through the Aspire Internal Grants Program:
Proposal Enhancement Grant: This program supports research or scholarly projects designed to establish a foundation for effectively seeking external funding. The anticipated outcome is the submission or re-submission of a competitive, external grant application.
Arts & Humanities Emerging Scholarship Grant: This program supports the professional growth of faculty in humanistic and creative disciplines. Projects should conclude with a public presentation (e.g., exhibitions, screenings, performances) or publicly accessible materials (like a monograph or journal article).
Eligibility: Faculty members must be tenured or in a tenure-line appointment. An individual may be awarded once every four (4) years. Deadlines vary based on faculty position.
Full application guidelines, information on how to apply, and deadlines can be found on the Aspire website. Don’t wait—the deadline is February 1!
