ASPiRE Grants: Faculty Advance & CREATE Applications Due Nov. 1

Ball State’s ASPiRE Internal Grants Program is pleased to announce the continuation of the Advance and CREATE grant opportunities available for faculty research and creative arts projects. 

Advance

The Advance award will support proposal development through dedicated summer time, academic year release time, travel and/or supplies that will directly impact the development and submission of a competitive external grant proposal.

Requested support can be in the form of summer stipend, summer graduate assistantship, supplemental assigned time, and/or supplies, expenses, equipment, and travel (SEET), up to $15,000.

CREATE

The CREATE program aims to encourage the artistic and creative endeavors of faculty. The program hopes to support the creation and presentation of works of those in the fields of Art, Dance, Design, Folk, Literature, Non-Fiction and more.

Through this program, applicants have the opportunity to request a larger amount of funding if they plan to submit proposals to external sponsors. Requested support can be in the form of summer stipend, summer graduate assistantship, supplemental assigned time, and/or supplies, expenses, equipment, and travel (SEET), up to $7,500.

Deadlines for Advance and CREATE:

  • November 1, 2021 (fall deadline)
  • March 1, 2022 (spring deadline)
