- Domestic Travel: This program supplements travel funds provided by the faculty members’ college and department to support domestic (within the United States) conferences, scholarly presentations, and/or artistic performances. Limited funding is available.
Max Award: $500 per faculty member
Deadline: 15th of every month (no more than 2 months ahead of planned travel) - Individual Development Support (Non-tenure line): This program provides NTL faculty, employed at Ball State for at least 3 years, to undertake activities to advance their development as scholars, including, but not limited to, workshops or conference travel for excellence in teaching, scholarly presentations, performances, and/or professional development.
Max Award: $500 per faculty member per year
Deadline: 15th of every month - International Travel: This program supplements travel funds provided by the faculty members’ college and department to support conferences, other scholarly presentations, and/or artistic performances undertaken outside of the United States.
Max award: $700 per faculty member
Deadlines: February 1st; April 1st; June 1st; August 1st; December 1st - Published Scholarship Support: This fund covers publication expenses like reprints, processing charges, and page fees. To qualify, the work must be accepted or published in a refereed journal. Support applies to open-access publications listed in the Directory of Open-Access Journals and subscription journals that allow hybrid open access for a fee.
