My name is Emily Hanlon, and I am a doctoral student in the School Psychology program at Ball State University. I am writing to let you know about an opportunity to participate in a study, 21st Century Scholars' Pathway to College: A Mixed-Methods Analysis of Mentoring Relationships, Peer Influences, Parent Engagement, and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy. I am conducting a research study examining the 21st Century Scholars Program and you are invited to participate in the study. If you agree, you will participate in an online survey that will take approximately 30 minutes to complete: https://bsu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_brLDgVwVTETaPGu. Upon completion of the survey, you may enter your information for an equal opportunity to receive one of four $50 gift cards drawn at random. In addition, participating in the survey will benefit current and future 21st Century Scholars.
Participants are eligible for the research study if they are 21st Century Scholars, currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college, university, or trade school, and are 18 years of age or older.
This study is approved by the BSU IRB [IRB-FY2025-136].
If you would like to have additional information about this study, please contact us at emily.hanlon@bsu.edu.
Thank you for your consideration, and once again, please do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in learning more about this Institutional Review Board approved project.
