The Division of Online and Strategic Learning is seeking faculty teaching on Canvas (all course modalities) to participate in a focus group for Khanmigo Teacher Tools. Khanmigo Teacher tools is a suite of AI teaching tools provided in partnership with Canvas and Khan Academy. (View a full list of tools included here.)

Applications are due Friday, January 17, 11:59 p.m. The focus group will take place in early Spring 2025, February - March.
We will select 5 focus group participants from among the applicants. Each participant will receive a $100 RIA contribution at the conclusion of the focus group. Total expected time commitment is 4 hours.
Participants will be expected to:
- Attend a 15-minute kickoff meeting (Zoom, synchronous)
- Test at least 5 tools from Khanmigo Teacher Tools in their own courses, such as creating lesson plans or assessment questions (asynchronous)
- Take notes on testing and share them with Division of Online and Strategic Learning staff (asynchronous)
- Attend a 45-minute debrief meeting to share feedback (Zoom, synchronous)
Asynchronous testing will take place over a span of 6 weeks to ensure that participants have plenty of opportunities to organically use Khanmigo Teacher Tools.
Applicants must:
- Be faculty or staff at Ball State University in Spring 2025 (graduate students are not eligible)
- Be scheduled to teach one or more classes at Ball State University in Spring 2025 (any course modality)
- Have taught at the college level for at least 3 years prior to Spring 2025
