The Staff Council is holding a mobile blood drive Wednesday July 17th from 10:00AM-2:00PM Parking lot south of AJ - Art and Journalism building.
Blood is precious, perishable and the need for it is vital. It also cannot be manufactured.
What you may not realize is that a small-time commitment can change someone's life, even your own. Every two seconds someone needs a blood transfusion, and that blood needs to be on the shelf before a tragedy occurs. The 10 minutes a donor spends in a chair means a lifetime at a patient’s time of greatest need.
All attempting donors will be entered for a chance to win 1 grill including accessories.
Make sure to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before donating. Click on the link below to schedule a time to donate or stop by. Walk-ins are welcome. Blood donations can be given from 9:00am until the last donation slot at 1:45pm.
