The Staff Council is holding an Angels for Life Blood Drive on Tuesday, September 15th and Wednesday, September 16, 2026 from 9:00AM-3:00PM in the lobby of the Health Professions Building.
Blood is precious, perishable and the need for it is vital. It also cannot be manufactured.
What you may not realize is that a small-time commitment can change someone's life, even your own. Every two seconds someone needs a blood transfusion, and that blood needs to be on the shelf before a tragedy occurs. The 10 minutes a donor spends in a chair means a lifetime at a patient’s time of greatest need.
Make sure to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before donating. Click on the link below to schedule a time to donate or stop by. Walk-ins are welcome. Blood donations can be given from 9:00am until the last donation slot at 2:45pm.
