The University Libraries offers access to scholarly articles about music through several online databases. This workshop will cover basic principles of database searching as well as specific techniques for music databases, and strategies for keeping up with new publications. Amy Edmonds, Music and Media Librarian, will guide users to the most useful features of RILM Abstracts of Music Literature, Oxford Music Online, and Music Index based on common needs of musicians, but will also address specific questions as attendees follow on their own devices.
