Join us for the 3rd Annual “A Better World: BSU Student Peace Conference” on April 4th (Thursday) from 1pm to 5pm in the L.A. Pittenger Student Center (Ballroom and Cardinal Hall A). This conference is a celebration of diverse perspectives and innovative ideas aimed at facilitating a more peaceful and harmonious world. The conference will feature over 30 presentations from BSU undergraduate and graduate students in disciplines such as history, political science, psychology, anthropology, sociology, education, English, media, journalism, architecture, history, religious studies, speech pathology, and audiology. From discussions on transformative leadership and building bridges for peaceful resolution to exploring societal challenges like same-sex marriage legalization and the media’s framing of conflicts, there's something for everyone interested in making a positive impact locally and elsewhere.
