Adventuresome undergraduates:

If you’re interested in studying in Africa, Asia, Central or Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, or the Middle East, a Boren Scholarship could give you up to $25,000 and a head start on your career!

Language study is required while abroad, and strong preference is given to students who will spend at least six months abroad (which can mean only one semester away from Ball State's campus, when summer is part of the equation).  Scholarships for summer study abroad (at least 8 weeks) are available only to students in STEM fields.

To learn more, attend an information session:

  • 5-6 p.m. on Thursday, November 18
  • Schwartz Digital Viewing Room of Bracken Library (1st floor)

If you’re interested but can’t attend, contact Dr. Barb Stedman, Director of National and International Scholarships, at bstedman@bsu.edu.
